Well, here I am, starting up the shiny new Halogen Labs Weblog. I used to blog (mostly) about Cocoon in a blog entitled Cocoon: Internet Glue. I eventually stepped away from the Cocoon community, and decided to start this blog, which will be a more general web-development blog — as if there weren’t enough already — and to be a little more transparent with what’s going on at my one-man web development shop, Halogen Labs.
I thought about importing the comments and content from the old blog. I’m not doing it right now, and I need to think about the implications of changing my blog’s name and URL.
Update: Comments and trackback are off for now, but rest assured I’ll turn them on as soon as I get some anti-spam plugins installed.
Until next time!
FYI, I’m switching web hosts. I plan on making the switch as seamless as possible, but if it appears the blog or the RSS feed have disappeared, fear not :)
An era in my life has ended, web-wise. I’ll blog about it later.
Looking at the TextDrive support blog, they have a lot of downtime. I heard from other users that their site that’s hosted on TD seems like it’s down more than it is up. Suddenly I am rethinking getting that account for Rails hosting…
