Apple’s WebObjects is Free — Sort Of
The catch to get WebObjects is that you have to purchase Mac OS X Tiger in order to get it. So it’s not really free.
Another caveat is that you still have to pay for a deployment license, which comes with OS X Server.
From what I’ve seen, WebObjects already does some neat things that other frameworks tout as useful features, such as “reverse-engineering” a database and assembling a scaffold webapp to make CRUD operations on objects dead simple.
